[the package is given to the family that steve is staying with, with the promise that it'll be placed in his room. inside, an amount of homemade goods have been stacked atop each other: candles, soaps, and moisturizing lotions. these should be very familiar, as they are often seen around the treehouse.
something else lies wrapped, though, and once opened, it'll reveal itself to be a combo of hair combing tools. wanda asked a local carpenter to make them, and hopefully steve will appreciate them.
[ it takes a couple of days before wanda will wake up one day and find a package left on her front doorstep. it's unclear when during the night it was left, but it hasn't been there for too long. it has been wrapped with care, but not well, and attached to the twine keeping it closed in steve's careful writing:]
Happy Holidays, Wanda From Steve
[ once she's decides to unwrap it, she'll find a batch of snickerdoodle cookies, a small coin purse with 'wanda' embossed along the seam (he may or may not have picked up a bit of leatherworking as a hobby lately), and a beautiful leatherbound notebook in deep wine red. ]
